CommonGood assists low-income residents gain living-wage employment through personalized, one-on-one job coaching and entry-level employment opportunities.

Common Good Recycling

CommonGood’s first initiative is CommonGood:Recycling (CG:Recycling). CG:Recycling provides entry-level jobs to low-income residents through a recycling program offered to subscribing downtown and midtown businesses. CG:Recycling is a socially- and environmentally-beneficial and affordable recycling option for all organizations currently not serviced by the city of Omaha.

inCOMMON is an official partner agency of the STEP -UP Omaha! (Summer Training Employment Pathway & Urban Pipeline) STEP-UP Omaha! recruits, trains, and places prepared Omaha youth and young adults age 14 to 21, in mutually beneficial paid summer jobs and work experience opportunities.
